Maasai Mara National Reserve is home of wildlife and more than 470 species of the birds are identified in the reserve many of which are migrants with 60 species being raptors.
All members of big five are found here in Mara.
LEOPARDS, AFRICA ELEPHANTS, CAPE BUFFALO AND BLACK RHINOCEROS,
Crocodiles and hippopotamus are found here in large numbers in the Mara and Talek River. Hyenas, Jackals, Foxes, Antelopes, Grant’s Gazelles, Dulkers, Cokes Hartebeests, Impalas, Maasai Giraffe are all Resident in this Reserve.
Some of the Birds are: Hornbills, Vultures, Crowned Cranes, Marabous Strorks, Ostriches, Africa Pygymfalcons, Long- cresed Eagles, Lilac-breasted and many others.
