4 Days Tanzania Tarangire/ Serengeti/Ngorongoro/Camping Joining Safari – Offer Per Person $6000
DAY 1 –Arusha/Tarangire National Park(130km – 2 hours)
Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at around 7:30am and drive on a tarmac road 120Km to Tarangire National Park (2,850 Km2) with packed lunch. The Park has natural vegetation mainly consisting of Acacia woodland and giant Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south.Herds of up to 300 elephants scratch the dry river bed for underground
streams during the dry season, while migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, and eland crowd the shrinking lagoons. It’s the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem “a smorgasbord for predators”, and the one place in Tanzania where dry a country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared
onyx are regularly observed. More ardent bird-lovers might keep an eye open for screeching flocks of the dazzlingly colorful yellow-collared lovebirds, and the somewhat drabber Rufus-tailed weaver and ashy starling – all endemic to the dry Savannah. Dinner and Overnight at Twiga Campsite.
DAY 2 –Tarangire National Park/Serengeti National Park(275km – 5 hours)
Breakfast at 6:00am. Drive to Serengeti National Park (14,763 sq km) for a game drive via Ngorongoro Crater rim. Tanzania’s oldest and most popular National Park, also a world heritage site. The Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 many gazelle join
the wildebeest trek for fresh grazing. The best month is December -March in the Southern Circuit iNdutu Area. April and May in Central &
Western Corridor, June and July in Serengeti North. Yet even when the migration is quiet the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game drive in Africa. As the day cools and the sky is streaked by red, gold and orange hues, you may be surprised by the roar of a lion, agalloping giraffe, or the high pitched giggling of hyenas fighting over a kill. Your Driver Guide is everything. Dinner and Overnight at Serengeti Seronera Campsite.
DAY 3 – Serengeti National Park/Ngorongoro Crater Rim(145km – 3 hours)
Wake up at 6:00am hours for early morning game drives in Serengeti National. At around 9:00 hours drive back to the campsite for breakfast. Then check out and drive with lunch and game viewing en route to Ngorongoro Crater Rim. Viewing game drive while spotting wildlife and enjoying the amazing scenery of Africa, across rivers and over numerous small villages. On the way to the crater rim by option you can visit Olduvai which was the first place where traces of an early stone tool culture
were discovered. This Gorge is where the English pair, Louis and MaryLeaky pioneered excavation work. In the sixties some of the earliest archaeological deposits of human evolution was found and a small museum
documents these discoveries. Also you can choose to visit the shifting sands. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Simba “A”Campsite.
DAY 4 – Ngorongoro Crater Floor/Arusha (190km – 4 hours)
Breakfast at 6:00am, Thereafter descend into Ngorongoro Crater floor(19.2 km of diameter, 610m deep, 304 sq km) for the game
drive.Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Garden of Eden’ the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World’. It is actually a caldera, which was formed centuries ago when a massive volcano imploded and collapsed in on itself. A tremendous eruption emptied a volcanic magma chamber which could no longer support the weight above it. The mountain then developed a circular fracture which was left as a perfect rim around a
flat a bottomed cauldron often more than a hundred square miles in extent. All the Big five Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant
live in this wonderful caldera, and many more mammals. Birds includes flamingos on the Soda lake, Geese, Storks, Vultures and more. Nowhere else can such a diversity in wildlife be experienced in such a short period of time. After game drive, drive on tarmac road to Arusha arriving in the evening for the drop off to your hotel.
